About the Floor Finish Procedure and SOP

There are different methods and procedures for applying floor finish across commercial cleaning operations. The procedure provided through Clean-Skills Training reflects the method used and understood through the course creator’s commercial cleaning experience.

Other companies or facilities may use different flooring, products, equipment, application methods or procedures. The Clean-Skills procedure is not intended to suggest that it is the only method used in the commercial cleaning industry.

Employers should review the Clean-Skills floor finish procedure and SOP against their own flooring, products, manufacturer instructions and workplace requirements, and adapt their site-specific procedures where necessary.
